Job summary

Takeda Canada Inc. in Toronto is seeking an HR Business Leader to act as the strategic HR partner to business leaders across Canada, shaping the people, culture, and organizational agenda that enables sustainable growth.

You will drive workforce and talent strategies, lead organizational transformation, and foster a high-performing, future-ready organization while ensuring a consistent HR approach across Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Extensive senior HR leadership experience partnering with executive leaders in complex, multinational organizations.
• Strong expertise in organizational design, talent strategy, succession planning, workforce planning, and transformation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement people strategies to enable business growth and organizational effectiveness across Canada.
• Partner with senior leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and critical talent decisions.
• Lead organizational transformation and change management initiatives, ensuring adoption of new ways of working.
• Drive a high-performance culture through leadership coaching, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Represent HR in Canada leadership forums and cross-functional business discussions, influencing strategic decisions.
• Build and strengthen the Canadian HR Community of Practice and collaborate with People Solutions and Labor & Relations teams.
