Turner & Townsend in Canada is seeking a Strategic Talent Acquisition Leader to guide the Canadian recruitment function and support rapid growth. You will lead a seven-person TA team, partner with senior leaders to develop workforce plans, and drive scalable recruitment strategies for high-volume programs.

This role requires a proven track record in fast-growing environments, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to align talent initiatives with business priorities.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Talent Acquisition including leadership of recruiting teams.
• Proven success developing recruitment strategies within a fast-growing organization.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders on workforce planning and talent strategy.
• Demonstrated success leading major hiring programs, project mobilizations, or high-volume recruitment initiatives.
• Strong people leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leveraging recruitment data, market insights, and technology to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies aligned with business growth and workforce plans.
• Partner with leadership to forecast talent needs and build proactive hiring plans.
• Lead talent acquisition efforts for major projects, growth initiatives, and high-volume hiring programs.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on talent strategy, market trends, and hiring challenges.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to deliver effective workforce solutions.
• Oversee full-cycle recruitment across multiple business lines and disciplines.
• Build diverse talent pipelines and innovative sourcing strategies for specialized and high-volume hiring needs.
• Ensure an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process.
