Job summary

GHD in Canada is seeking a collaborative People Business Partner for the Canada Central team. Based in the GTA, you will partner with regional leaders to shape workforce strategies, strengthen leadership capability, and drive business performance through people initiatives.

This role blends strategic consulting with hands-on HR support in a fast-paced professional services environment. You will work with Talent Management, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and HR Systems to deliver

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, industrial relations, or related field.
Minimum of five years of related experience.
CHRP/CHRL or equivalent designation preferred.
Experience supporting leaders in a complex, professional services org is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Canadian employment laws and employee relations.
Experience leading organizational change and implementing people initiatives.
Exceptional consulting, influencing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and translate insights into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

Strategic business partnership with leaders to shape workforce priorities and workforce planning.
Lead or support regional and national people initiatives and projects.
Provide HR advisory support on employee relations, performance management, and policy alignment.
Collaborate with Talent Management, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, and HR Systems to deliver integrated solutions.
Drive employee engagement and contribute to a high-performance culture.
