How You’ll Make An Impact
- Report to the Agile Team Lead, Analytics and Business Intelligence.
- Support the team of Analysts on initiatives that transform data into analytics and present findings to all levels of AMA leadership.
- Work closely with business leaders across multiple lines to document clear project requirements based on in‑depth knowledge and understanding of strategy and processes.
- Perform analysis for a wide range of requests using data from various platforms.
- Actively partner with business leaders and customers to provide advice stemming from data and process analysis taken from internal and external sources.
- Facilitate the transformation of data into critical knowledge and insights that support sound business decisions.
- Create concise, audience‑appropriate, actionable communications characterized by strategic insight.
- Provide input to the development of performance metrics, reporting formats and dashboards.
- Maintain accurate and timely delivery of production deliverables.
- Verify data meets required quality standards.
What You Bring To The Table
- You have a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or a related field.
- Have experience with Agile/Scrum? Even better.
- Strong understanding of businesses and their strategies enables you to validate results and identify critical issues.
- You have 3–5 years of data analysis or related technical experience, significant database querying (SQL), data analysis, and visualization experience using Excel and Power BI.
- Experience with Python or Snowflake is highly desirable.
- Do you have specialized training/certification or equivalent work experience? Tell us about it and why it’s relevant to your career as a Business Data Analyst.
