Overview

This is a temporary opportunity for up to 12 months supporting the Senior Directors in the Case Management Division. Provide program support and assistance to the supervisor and team in the resolution of multi-faceted issues related to front line services, staff issues and across the WSIB.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support and assistance to the supervisor and management team to facilitate the administration of day-to-day activities.
  • Respond to complaints, identify issues (including sensitive or high-profile issues), and resolve or expedite resolution of issues.
  • Follow up on outstanding action points, issues, projects and assignments; ensure completion or resolution.
  • Prepare correspondences, memos for supervisor approval, and status reports on various activities, projects and initiatives.
  • Manage the supervisor’s calendar (meetings and appointments) to avoid conflicts and inform of changes.
  • Prepare agendas and organize material for meetings; update on current issues as appropriate; may accompany the supervisor to take minutes.
  • Act as liaison to internal and external groups to facilitate effective communication and resolve issues and complaints; provide general information on programs and services.
  • Coordinate and prepare the branch’s annual operating and capital budget plan; analyze past and current expenditure trends; forecast expenditures; monitor monthly expenses and provide variance explanations as needed.
  • Identify and analyze data requirements for ad hoc or regular operations reports; gather data from various sources and produce reports using relevant software.
  • Participate on committees and projects to facilitate action and decision-making related to cluster/divisional/branch initiatives and HR issues.
  • Liaise with facilities planning and I.S. on staff movement, space, equipment, security and safety issues to support unit operations.
  • Act as security administrator for on-line systems, ensuring proper access and permissions; assist with password management and monitoring access.
  • Develop and maintain the cluster/divisional/branch SharePoint Site and related resources.

Salary and Employment Details

Salary Grade: N05; From: $71,098.79 To: $88,873.00

This is a temporary opportunity for up to 12 months supporting the Senior Directors in the Case Management Division. Employment type: Full-time. Seniority level: Associate.

Work Arrangements and Travel

This job may require travel to the main location or other locations across Ontario for in-office days, training or events. In-office days are typically monthly. Travel reimbursement provided in accordance with WSIB policies. The organization supports a mix of working in the office, in the field and from home to balance personal and career goals.
