Job summary

Libro Credit Union in Ontario is seeking a Branch Manager for the Wingham Branch to lead personal banking, wealth, and service delivery. You will partner with regional leaders to build actionable business plans and coach staff to achieve goals while strengthening community relationships.

You’ll foster accountability, courage, and inclusive leadership as you drive growth, risk management, and a superior Member experience in a community-focused financial cooperative.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma with 4–6 years’ experience in financial services or sales leadership.
• Proven leadership, project leadership, and mentoring experience.
• Ability to develop and execute regional business plans and drive accountability.
• Passion for helping people grow their financial well‑being.
• Demonstrates accountability, courage, inclusivity, and high performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the branch at an acceptable audit level while reviewing and implementing identified business process improvement recommendations.
• Support the team in making smart risk decisions that protect Members and Libro.
• Demonstrate a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement mindset.
• Support staff with developed Individual Sales Plans and coach to activity and results.
• Conduct observations of coaching interactions; provide feedback and role model strong sales and service skills.
• Promote cross-segment cooperation to generate referrals and build full‑service relationships.
• Foster an environment of personal responsibility with staff autonomy.
• Oversee onboarding and ongoing training of direct reports per onboarding plans.
• Collaborate with regional/location teams to implement a business development plan for growth.
• Motivate and guide a proactive team to network in Libro’s target market and build Membership.
