Libro Credit Union is hiring a Business Relationship Manager to support a portfolio of small to mid-sized businesses and agricultural producers in the Huron Perth region. The BRM will work from the Exeter branch, delivering tailored financial solutions and building durable relationships with local business owners.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in business, finance, agriculture, or related field.
• 3+ years in business banking, relationship management, or commercial lending.
• Proven experience managing a diverse business portfolio.
• Strong business development experience.
• Experience in credit underwriting, loan structuring, and financial analysis.
• Financial Planning or Credit Risk designation preferred.
• Agricultural financing or rural economic development preferred.
• Established connections within local business or agricultural community preferred.
• Strong credit analysis and financial structuring skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of business Members including SMEs and agricultural producers.
• Provide comprehensive financial solutions for business and personal banking needs.
• Act as a trusted advisor, building long-term value-driven relationships.
• Expand Libro's presence by networking with local business owners and associations.
• Analyze financials to identify lending, cash management, and deposit opportunities.
• Structure and deliver tailored financing solutions.
• Collaborate with internal specialists in planning, insurance, cash management, and legacy planning.
• Maintain a high level of credit risk knowledge.
• Engage with the local business community to foster opportunities.
• Attend industry events and participate in local business associations.
• Promote Libro’s mission and values through community involvement.
• Monitor portfolio health and minimize credit risk.
• Provide ongoing financial advice to Members.
• Lead renewal discussions to keep solutions aligned with goals.
