Job summary

Beem Credit Union in Vernon, BC is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead the retail branch team and deliver member-centric experiences.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will drive goals, support coaching, and ensure compliance while promoting digital adoption and advice-based financial solutions.

The role requires 3–5 years in retail banking, 1–2 years in leadership, and a post-secondary business/finance education.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in retail banking or financial services.
• Minimum 1–2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate Growth’s objectives into branch plans and monitor progress.
• Lead sales, service and digital engagement initiatives at the branch.
• Oversee day-to-day branch operations, risk controls and audit readiness.
• Coach advisors to strengthen advice-first engagement and development.
• Drive goals-based advice and cross-sell while maintaining compliance.
