Overview Job Skills / Requirements

Reporting to theVP, Operations,this positionis responsible foroverseeing the Managers responsible for aportfolio of clients and all aspects of Paladin business within thoseportfolios. TheBranchManager willwork directly with the Client Service Managers / Security Programs Managers / Contract Managers toregularlymeetwith clients and security staff to ensure that everyone’s needs are met. Based out ofRegina,Saskatchewan,theBranchManagerwill be able to travel for businesswithin theProvinceasrequired.

Job Duties / Responsibilities
  • Ensures that Managers have complete andup-to-date Site Orders
  • Ensures that the requiredSite Training and Employee Orientation programs inplace
  • Works with their management team andPeople and Cultureto ensure sufficient resources are available to meet the company’s obligations.
  • Meets withManagementTeam to ensureadequate numbers of trained security staffare in placeto meet all of Paladin’s contractual obligations.
  • Assists Managers with escalated incidents to ensure that wetakeappropriateaction
  • Works with Managers to ensure thatKey Performance Indicator reportsare completedfor regular review with clients, as applicable.
  • Monitors allAccountsReceivable of clients andassistsaccounting when needed to ensure all accounts are kept up to date.
  • Meets with clients toensuresthat all services provided bythe Managers and employeesare deliveredin accordance withthe client’s wishes, best interests andin accordance withPaladin’s Code of Ethics.
  • Ensuresaccuracy with schedulingsoftware, andworks with Managers and Portfolio Resource Coordinators.
  • Reviews financial strengths of contracts
  • Provides leadership and mentorship to Managers to build succession plans.
  • Recruits andinterviews for open management positions.
  • Ensures all staffhave receivedadequate training based onindustry, andcorporate and client standards.
  • Provides motivational and disciplinary discussions as needed.
  • Performs evaluations of staff assigned to sites on an as needed basis.
  • Develops andmaintainsexcellent relationships with the clients in the portfolio.
  • Make consistent visits to client sites to ensure needs and goals arebeing metand fulfilled.
  • Develops andmaintainsfrequent security evaluations of client facilities and ensuresappropriate recommendationsare made to clients so that their security needs are met.
  • Responds to communications from clients or staffin a timely manner.Communicates appropriate information toothersas needed to ensure that any outstanding issues are dealt with in a timely fashion.
  • Remains on-call to act as an after-hoursresource for emergencies.
  • Reports regularly to theOperationsManageron matters of company or client interest orsignificant events.
  • Analyzes business margins on a contract-by-contract basis to ensure the portfolio of businessremainsprofitable.Margins will be reviewedon a monthly basisat a minimum.
  • Assistsin negotiating billing rates with the clients in the portfolio to ensure theyremainconsistent with expected margins.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of Business Metrics is achieved according tositeneeds and goals.
  • Leverages Paladin’s best practices,innovationsand company advancements to better support ourclient, people, and programs.
  • Performs other duties as requested.
Qualifications
  • Expierence in a relative field is a requirment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, including delivering presentations to groups.
  • Ability to lead, plan, organize, delegate and problem solve.
  • Ability to monitor and assess the performance of individuals, or sites to make improvements or take corrective action.
  • Effective project management, with the ability to define a project, develop the overall project plan with clear deliverables and timeline, and manage the employees to deliver the desired outcome.
  • Demonstrates passion for the security industry and embraces the organizational mission and values. Provides clients with a customer security plan and provides a service that adds value while meeting client needs and generating client satisfaction.
  • Bachelors degree in a relaed field is an asset.
