Job summary

Royal Bank of Canada in Kitchener is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a local team, deliver exceptional client experiences, and champion multichannel services. You will drive growth through partnerships, coach staff, and steward digital enablement within the community.

You will recruit, develop, and retain talent, while aligning with RBC values and strategic goals to grow market share and client satisfaction in the branch and surrounding area.

Qualifications

• Mutual funds accreditation (IFIC or CSC) and at least 2 years of licensed mutual funds sales in the last 3 years.
• Completed mutual fund branch management exam via CSI, or able to write within 4 months of start date.
• Minimum 3 years in a people management role.
• Entrepreneurial business acquisition mindset.
• Ability to use digital channels and enable RBC digital access for clients.

Responsibilities

• Inspire, orchestrate, and deliver retail excellence to create memorable client experiences.
• Drive client acquisitions through multiple channels with your team and local partners.
• Lead change, allocate resources, and grow sales, revenue and market share.
• Ensure high employee engagement through recruiting, development, and career planning.
• Coach the team on client advice, problem resolution, and multichannel usage.
• Close gaps identified through operational and compliance reviews.
