Job description

The Bow Valley Pride Network (BVPN) Coordinator is responsible for driving the growth, visibility, and sustainability of the Network. This role will focus on membership development, partnership engagement, and communications to advance inclusion, equity, and belonging across Banff and Canmore.

The Coordinator will manage day-to-day operations of the BVPN, including outreach to business members, relationship management with partner organizations, and coordination of communications, workshops, and events. This position represents a crucial step toward building long-term community infrastructure for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Bow Valley.

What you’ll do
1) Network coordination & membership growth
  • Recruit and onboard business members
  • Effectively communicate the BVPN business commitments, offering clarity and guidance to prospective members.
  • Maintain a member/prospect database, and support annual reporting
  • Identify collaboration opportunities and ensure members are recognized online
2) Partnership development
  • Build relationships with regional business and tourism networks
  • Support ongoing collaboration with Bow Valley Immigration Partnership
  • Workplace Inclusion Charter
  • Build working relationships with local community organizations and partners
3) Communications & visibility
  • Support monthly content development (social + newsletters) highlighting members, resources, and community stories
  • Update and manage www.pridenetwork.ca
4) Program & workshop support
  • Promote workshops and coordinate facilitators and delivery
  • Manage registrations and feedback tools (pre/post surveys, evaluations)
  • Support logistics for panels, webinars, and community learning
5) Reporting & evaluation
  • Track metrics and deliverables (membership growth, engagement, participation, reach)
  • Support funder and partner reporting with accurate data and insights
