Job summary

JobsMedia.io is seeking a 100% bilingual Sales Broker to manage inbound requests for quotes and policy expansions. The role supports a hybrid/remote setup across Canada, including Waterloo and Ottawa locations, with a focus on personal lines insurance.

You will respond promptly, build client relationships, and maintain accurate records while navigating underwriting guidelines. Fluency in English and French is essential.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid RIBO license or OTL with plan to obtain RIBO within 45 days of start.
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in personal lines, auto, property and marine insurance.
Excellent communication in English and French (spoken and written).
Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office; experience with Epic and Applied Rating Services is a bonus.

Responsibilities

Handle inbound calls from customers seeking quotes or coverage expansions.
Uncover client needs, offer competitive solutions, and ensure support throughout.
Build trust with prospects and clients and grow the pipeline through referrals.
Take ownership of complex questions and resolve them smoothly.
Maintain accurate files and stay up-to-date on underwriting guidelines.
