Job summary

RBC Insurance Group is seeking a bilingual Licensed Insurance Advisor for Home & Auto to assist clients by providing insurance advice and options over the phone. You will actively contribute to sales goals while referring clients to internal partners and delivering an exceptional client experience.

The role requires English and French fluency, a Quebec Damages Insurance certificate or willingness to obtain it, and strong customer service skills. On-site in Montreal with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Quebec Damage Insurance certificate delivered by l’Autorité des marchés financiers or the willingness and ability to obtain it and the General Insurance License for Ontario and other provinces.
• Bilingual English and French required to serve our clients with both language needs.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Flexibility to work all shifts within operating hours; Home & Auto Advice Centre is open Mon–Fri.
• Digital literacy across a broad range of services and devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide insurance advice and solutions to clients based on their needs through inbound calls.
• Exhibit a consistent, positive client experience and resolve concerns at first point of contact, building relationships.
• Complete personalized needs assessments and reviews using tools and calculators to demonstrate value.
• Demonstrate understanding of regulatory risk when underwriting and updating home & auto policies.
• Use procedures effectively during conversations with clients.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to work as one RBC team.
