Job summary

RBC Insurance Group is seeking a licensed Insurance Advisor for Home & Auto in Montréal. You will be the trusted voice for clients, delivering clear insurance advice and options to protect what matters most.

You’ll assess client needs, resolve issues, and contribute to team sales goals while cross-collaborating across RBC partners. The role emphasizes bilingual service, adherence to regulatory requirements, and a focus on exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain the Quebec Damage Insurance certificate delivered by l’Autorité des marchés financiers and the General Insurance License for Ontario and other provinces.
• Bilingual English and French required, as you will regularly serve our English and French speaking clients.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Flexibility to work all shifts within hours of operation (8:00am - 8:30pm).
• Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops).

Responsibilities

• Provide insurance advice and solutions to clients based on their needs through inbound calls.
• Maintain a positive client experience and resolve client concerns at first contact, building relationships during conversations.
• Complete personalized needs assessments using tools and calculators to support advice recommendations.
• Demonstrate understanding of regulatory risk when underwriting home & auto policies.
• Use procedures effectively during conversations with clients.
• Collaborate with partners to work as one RBC team.
