Job summary

RBC Insurance Group in Montréal seeks a bilingual Licensed Insurance Advisor for Home & Auto to provide expert insurance advice over the phone and recommend personalized solutions. You will help clients protect what matters most, delivering exceptional service with empathy and clarity, and work toward individual and team sales goals.

You will conduct needs assessments, leverage RBC tools, ensure compliance, and collaborate with partners across RBC to deliver a seamless client experience.

Qualifications

• Quebec Damage Insurance certificate delivered by l’Autorité des marchés financiers or willingness/ability to obtain it and the General Insurance License for Ontario (training provided by RBC).
• Bilingualism (English and French) required to serve clients with English and French-speaking needs.
• Exceptional customer service skills with ability to build strong client relationships.
• Flexibility to work all shifts within operating hours (Home & Auto Advice Centre open Mon–Fri 8:00am–8:30pm).
• Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops).

Responsibilities

• Provide insurance advice and solutions to clients based on their needs through inbound calls.
• Deliver a consistent, positive client experience and resolve client concerns at first point of contact.
• Complete needs assessments and reviews using tools and calculators to demonstrate value and support advice.
• Demonstrate understanding of regulatory risk when underwriting and updating home & auto policies.
• Use procedures effectively during conversations with clients.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to work as one RBC team.
