Job summary

Galvanisation Québec, with its modern Kirkland head office, is seeking an Accounts Payable Technician to join our dynamic finance team. The role focuses on the full AP cycle, supplier relations, and ensuring accurate payments to vendors.

We value bilingualism (French and English), a minimum of 3 years in a similar role, and relevance in accounting or administration. A strong ERP/CRM/Office toolkit is a plus. Immediate start.

Qualifications

• Bilingualism in French and English is essential.
• Minimum 3 years in a similar Accounts Payable role.
• A degree in accounting or administration is an asset.
• Experience with Sage 300 ERP, Salesforce, SAP Concur, and MS Office is an asset.
• Able to adapt to new technologies and a changing environment.
• Self-motivated, discreet, detail-oriented and a team player.
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage full accounts payable cycle: opening AP accounts, processing invoices and expenses, and making supplier payments.
• Maintain supplier records, reconcile statements, and resolve discrepancies.
• Obtain approvals from relevant departments before payments.
• Reconcile supplier balances with the general ledger.
• Serve as the point of contact for supplier inquiries with timely support.
• Participate in audits and other finance projects.
