Fed Finance is seeking an Accounts Receivable Technician for a permanent role in Montreal, offering a hybrid work arrangement (2 days from home, 3 days on-site). Reporting to the Controller, you will manage AR, assist with month-end close, and drive process improvements across multiple entities within the group.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and bilingual French-English abilities. Knowledge of Dynamics BC is a plus.

Formación

• College diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as an Accounting Technician, ideally within an SME.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to positively influence others.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven, with strong organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Transparency, fairness, rigor, accountability, and empathy are essential values.
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is an asset.
• Bilingual in French and English.

Responsabilidades

• Report to the Controller and contribute to month-end closing and accounting process improvements.
• Reconcile bank receipts (transfers, card payments, cheques) with the accounting system.
• Reconcile AR balances between operating systems and the GL.
• Analyze unusual balances, investigate discrepancies, and adjust as needed.
• Reconcile GL accounts including membership fees refunds and intercompany transfers.
• Assist with external collections reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.
• Record daily direct deposits for Group entities and trace unidentified deposits.
• Process membership fee refunds per procedures and schedules.
• Prepare intercompany invoices and client-specific invoices.
• Analyze outstanding AR and determine actions to optimize collections.
• Review vehicle sale agreements and follow up receivables until payment.
• Identify and participate in process optimization and new systems/tools implementation.
