Job summary

RED Mountain Resort BC is hiring a Bar Person (Server/Bartender) for the 2026/27 Winter Season. If you’re passionate about hospitality and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is your chance to join a team that values professionalism, teamwork, and fun.

As a Bar Person, you’ll provide attentive service, take orders, and assist with stock, POS transactions, and guest recommendations. Must have Serving It Right and Food Safe Level 1; 2–3 years of serving experience; and be at least 29 years

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of serving experience in a restaurant, resort, or hospitality environment.
  • Serving It Right Certification and Food Safe Level 1 Certification.
  • Experience with POS systems is an asset.
  • Excellent food and beverage knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service from start to finish.
  • Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Recommend menu items and beverage pairings to enhance the guest experience.
  • Follow RED Mountain’s Food & Beverage policies and procedures and all health & safety regulations.
  • Handle guest concerns with care and professionalism, escalating to management when needed.
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary and F&B teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with stock rotation, inventory management, and POS transactions as required.
  • Assists in maintaining table and bar service areas inclusive of bussing and side duties as required throughout the shift
  • Support other outlets as needed.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking energetic hospitality professionals who are passionate about service and eager to grow in a dynamic mountain resort setting.

You bring:

  • 2–3 years of serving experience in a restaurant, resort, or hospitality environment.
  • Must be at least 29 years of age.
  • Serving It Right Certification and Food Safe Level 1 Certification.
  • Experience with POS systems is an asset.
  • Excellent food and beverage knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to work independently when required.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. and working in indoor and occasional outdoor settings.
