Job summary

RED Mountain Resort is hiring a Cashier/Barista for the 2026/27 Winter Season. You’ll provide prompt, accurate service at F&B outlets and contribute to guest satisfaction in a fast-paced resort setting.

Responsibilities include processing orders, suggesting menu items, and upholding health and safety policies while collaborating with culinary and front-of-house teams. This role requires 19+ years of age and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of cashier or serving experience in a restaurant, resort, or hospitality environment.
• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• Serving It Right Certification required.
• POS systems experience is an asset.
• Excellent food and beverage knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborative spirit with ability to work independently when needed.
• Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs indoors with occasional outdoor duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with purchasing food and beverages, delivering efficient and accurate service.
• Ring items into POS, approve off-menu or comp items only with authorization.
• Recommend menu items and beverage pairings to guests.
• Follow F&B policies and health & safety regulations.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory counts, and general F&B duties as volumes dictate.
• Collaborate with culinary and FOH teams for smooth operations.
• Support outlets as required and maintain service areas during shifts.

As a Cashier/Barista at RED Mountain, you’ll ensure every guest receives prompt, accurate, and friendly service while supporting the smooth operation of our Food & Beverage outlets.

What You’ll Do

• Assist guests with purchasing food and beverages, providing service efficiently and accurately.
• Ring all food and beverage items into the POS system, ensuring no off-menu or complimentary items are given without approval.
• Recommend menu items and beverage pairings to enhance the guest experience.
• Follow RED Mountain’s Food & Beverage policies and procedures and all health & safety regulations.
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory counts, and general F&B outlet duties as business volumes dictate.
• Collaborate with the culinary and FOH teams to ensure smooth communication and operations.
• Assists in maintaining table and bar service areas inclusive of bussing and side duties as required throughout the shift
• Support other outlets as required.
