As a Cashier/Barista, you’ll deliver prompt, accurate, friendly service while supporting smooth operation of our Food & Beverage outlets. We look for 2-3 years of cashier or serving experience, at least 19 years old, Serving It Right certification, and comfort

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of cashier or serving experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Must be at least 19 years old.
• Serving It Right Certification.
• Experience with POS systems is an asset.
• Excellent food and beverage knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative spirit with ability to work independently when required.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs and working indoors with occasional outdoor duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with purchasing food and beverages, providing service efficiently and accurately.
• Ring all food and beverage items into the POS system, ensuring no off-menu or complimentary items are given without approval.
• Recommend menu items and beverage pairings to enhance the guest experience.
• Follow RED Mountain's Food & Beverage policies and procedures and all health & safety regulations.
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Assist with stock rotation, inventory counts, and general F&B outlet duties as business volumes dictate.
• Collaborate with the culinary and FOH teams to ensure smooth communication and operations.
• Assists in maintaining table and bar service areas inclusive of bussing and side duties as required throughout the shift
• Support other outlets as required.
