Job summary

Farm Boy is seeking a store leader to drive exceptional customer service and guide the department to strong business results. You will work with the Store Manager and Retail Specialist to turn strategy into action, while building a culture focused on trust, engagement, and high performance.

You will recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff, oversee inventory and payroll-related tasks, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in a retail setting.
• Public Health Food Handler certification, Smart Serve, and Level A First Aid & CPR, or willingness to obtain within six months.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and achieve departmental goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and drive department performance.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to implement store strategies and goals.
• Lead recruitment, coaching, training, and performance reviews for staff.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, product quality, and payroll-related duties.
• Lead opening/closing duties and assist with safety compliance and emergency readiness.
• Maintain adherence to health, safety, and food-handling policies.
• Foster a culture of trust, engagement, and accountability among team members.
