Farm Boy in Ottawa is seeking a strong store leader to deliver exceptional customer service and guide the department to meet business results. You will partner with the Store Manager and Retail Specialist to execute strategies and coach a high‑performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary program in business plus 3+ years of supervisory/managerial experience.
• Public Health Food Handler, Smart Serve, and Level A First Aid & Basic CPR (or commitment within 6 months).
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and high performance.
• Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills; teamwork focus.
• Comfort using manual and automated systems; proficient with computer software.
• Ability to work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Fluency in English; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and guide department to achieve business results.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and Retail Specialist to drive performance and goals.
• Build a culture of trust and engagement through coaching and team huddles.
• Develop and lead a high‑performance team through recruitment, training, coaching, reviews, recognition.
• Promote policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Oversee operations including inventory, ordering, maintenance, quality, rotation, shrink, merchandising, invoicing, scheduling and payroll.
• Participate in store coverage as Manager on Duty, including opening/closing and emergency response.
• Ensure adherence to Safe Food Handling and Health & Safety policies.
• Contribute to store success by taking on additional responsibilities.
