Job summary

Farm Boy is seeking team members to contribute to a high-quality shopping experience with exceptional customer service. The role focuses on assisting customers, processing purchases, handling alcohol where permitted, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Flexibility is required for weekends, evenings and holidays. English and French language skills are a plus, and prior retail experience is an asset.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service, strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; French is an asset and may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service and support Farm Boy’s vision of the best fresh shopping experience.
• Handle customer questions confidently and maintain product knowledge.
• Process customer purchases, collect tenders accurately and bag items.
• May be required to handle or sell alcohol.
• Learn product codes and apply them accurately during checkout.
• Balance all tenders received and maintain cash accuracy.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls as necessary.
• Keep store areas clean and safe through general housekeeping.
