Job summary

Farm Boy is seeking a customer-focused team member to enhance our welcoming shopping experience. You will assist customers, maintain attractive displays, and ensure accurate signage and cleanliness throughout the store.

Ideal candidates bring retail experience or a strong transfer of skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and a collaborative attitude. Positions require standing, lifting, and occasional work in cooler conditions, with evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a dynamic schedule.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for delivering engaging customer service.
• Retail experience is an asset or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and pride in delivering quality results and maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on setting with multiple deadlines, standing, lifting, and working in cooler/freezer/outdoor conditions.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English; French language skills are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service in line with Farm Boy’s standards.
• Welcome and assist customers with knowledge and enthusiasm for products.
• Package, stock, and rotate merchandise with high-quality presentation and signage.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and storage spaces.
• Follow Health & Safety, Food Safety, and equipment use policies.
• Complete opening/closing procedures and assist teammates as needed.
• Support team with additional duties on a periodic basis.
