Overview

Position Summary

Are you a strategic product leader with a passion for investment solutions and a track record of driving advisor engagement? iA Wealth is seeking an experienced and dynamic AVP, Product Management to lead a high-performing team in delivering best-in-class product support across our suite of investment products, including iA Clarington mutual funds. This is a unique opportunity to shape how our products are positioned, supported, and understood across the advisor network. As a “player/coach,” you’ll balance hands-on product coverage with leadership responsibilities—mentoring a team, driving process innovation, and collaborating across departments to ensure our product management function is scalable, insightful, and aligned with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and evolve a scalable, high-impact product management model that delivers timely, accurate, and insightful support across all iA Wealth investment products.
  • Set and uphold high standards for product integrity, positioning, and messaging across the product lifecycle.
  • Maintain direct product management responsibility for a defined suite of funds, while guiding the broader team in delivering consistent, high-quality support.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to automate and streamline product-related communications and processes.
  • Build strong relationships with internal investment teams and sub-advisors to ensure deep product knowledge and differentiated positioning.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to tailor product support for all sales channels, ensuring maximum relevance and impact.
  • Oversee the development of positioning documents, fund messaging, and tactical market commentary in collaboration with Product Marketing.
  • Mentor and develop product managers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead annual product integrity reviews to ensure alignment between fund messaging and investment mandates.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in new product launches, guiding the product management team through execution.
  • Ensure rigorous quality control and compliance in all product-related outputs.

  • Establish a scalable product management framework that delivers consistent, high-quality support across all iA Wealth investment solutions.
  • Elevate the team’s output by mentoring product managers and embedding best practices that drive accuracy, insight, and advisor relevance.
  • Strengthen advisor engagement by delivering differentiated product positioning and commentary that aligns with advisor needs and market dynamics.
  • Build trusted relationships with product development, investment products & platforms and investment teams, sales leadership, and marketing partners to ensure seamless collaboration and strategic alignment.
  • Drive automation and efficiency in product support processes, contributing to a more agile and responsive product marketing ecosystem.
  • Ensure product integrity through rigorous reviews and positioning updates that reflect the evolving mandates and market context of each fund.
  • Contribute to AUM growth by enhancing the clarity, relevance, and impact of product messaging across all distribution channels.
Qualifications & Experience
  • University degree in Business, Finance, or Economics; MBA preferred.
  • CFA designation required.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive product management experience in financial services, with deep expertise in mutual funds and managed solutions.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets and all major asset classes.
  • Proven leadership in managing product teams and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Investment and Capital Markets teams.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship management, and presentation skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, and Morningstar Direct.
