Budget Brake and Muffler Auto Centre North Vancouver is a family-owned automotive service shop that has been serving the north shore for over 35 years. We provide competitive wages, benefits, and a great working environment. We are looking for new members to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity for an automotive technician that is willing and able to work as an automotive technician 3 - 5 days a week.

Automotive Technician Responsibilities:

  • Identify problems with vehicles using automotive experience and diagnostic equipment
  • Communicate findings with supervisor and discuss repair plan
  • Adjust, repair, replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Test the functionality of parts, systems, and components of automotive systems
  • Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance and auto care tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, tire rotation, wiper replacement etc.
  • Help keep automotive repair centre clean and organized

Position Requirements:

  • Automotive repair experience and/or certification with regards to all components of an automobile
  • Valid BC Driver’s License
  • Willingness to learn/experience with diagnostic equipment
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Commitment to high standards of work
