Driven Auto Group — Service Technician (310S Licensed )

Driven Auto Group is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced, dependable, and skilled Service Technician to join our growing Service Department.

We operate a modern, high-volume facility with multiple bays, advanced diagnostic equipment, and a strong mix of internal reconditioning work, customer-pay repairs, and retail service growth.

This role is ideal for a technician who maintains high standards, communicates professionally, and is comfortable working across multiple makes and models.

Role Overview

As a Service Technician, you will perform mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on a wide variety of vehicles while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and dealership-level quality. You will work closely with our Service Advisors, Parts Department, and management team to keep workflow moving smoothly and maintain our reputation for excellent workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general mechanical repairs, maintenance, inspections, and diagnostics
  • Work confidently on multiple makes and models (domestic, Asian, European)
  • Complete safety inspections and reconditioning on pre-owned vehicles
  • Use OEM repair procedures and follow manufacturer-recommended processes
  • Communicate clearly with advisors regarding required repairs and timelines
  • Maintain accurate documentation on repair orders
  • Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards
  • Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
Preferred Experience & Skills
  • 310S Licensed Automotive Service Technician, or experienced 2nd–4th year apprentice
  • Strong diagnostic and mechanical proficiency
  • Experience with OEM repair procedures (Toyota, GM, FCA, Honda, Ford, VW, BMW, Mercedes, etc.)
  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, technical bulletins, and service manuals
  • Experience in a dealership environment (preferred but not required)
  • Familiarity with PBS DMS or other dealership management systems is a strong asset
  • Ability to work efficiently with high attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Valid G-Class driver’s licence with clean abstract
