What You’ll Do
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize PLC systems (Allen‑Bradley, TI, Modicon)
  • Program and integrate ABB robots for automated processes
  • Design, install, and maintain electrical control systems and network infrastructure
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and diagnostics to reduce downtime
  • Support commissioning of new equipment and retrofit projects
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions for electrical issues
  • Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of PLC programs, robot configurations, and schematics
  • Ensure full compliance with electrical safety standards (LOTO, codes, etc.)
  • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to improve performance
  • Mentor and support technical staff to build in‑house expertise
What You Bring
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
  • 8+ years of North American experience in industrial automation and controls
  • Proficiency in Allen‑Bradley RSLogix/Studio 5000, TI Soft, and Modicon platforms
  • Strong ABB robot programming and maintenance experience
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, DH+, and Modbus
  • Skilled in reading and creating electrical schematics and control circuits
  • TPM knowledge and CMMS experience are assets
