About the Opportunity
In this role, you will take ownership of audit engagements from planning through completion, act as the primary point of contact for clients, and lead the development of audit staff. You’ll work closely with partners on quality, process improvement, and business development initiatives while maintaining high professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through completion
• Review financial statements prepared under ASPE and IFRS
• Oversee risk assessments, materiality, and audit testing
• Serve as the primary client contact during engagements
• Resolve technical accounting and audit issues
• Mentor, review, and develop audit staff
• Ensure compliance with Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS)
• Support quality control and process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with partners on firm strategy and business development

The Requirements

• CPA designation
• 5+ years of progressive audit experience, preferably in public practice
• Strong technical knowledge ofASPE, IFRS, and CAS
• Proven leadership and people-management experience
• Excellent communication and client-relationship skills
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities
• Experience with audit software and Microsoft Office
• Exposure to personal and corporate tax returns considered an asset
