The Assistant Team Leader position at Dollarama in Waterdown, Ontario is a permanent role available in both full-time (25+ hours per week) and part-time (less than 25 hours per week) formats, with pay ranging from $18.10 to $18.60. The schedule includes day, evening and weekend shifts, so flexible availability is required.

Day to day, you'll support the management team in running store operations, handle cash management, open and close the store, stock shelves to presentation standards and assist customers. You'll also take on manager-on-duty tasks such as tracking attendance and making sure breaks are taken on schedule.

About the Role: Assistant Team Leader

As Assistant Team Leader, you share responsibility for the store's daily rhythm: receiving shipments, keeping shelves stocked, maintaining safety and cleanliness standards, and stepping into supervisory duties when needed. You'll also take part in training new employees and resolving customer issues as they come up.

The role calls for leadership and teamwork in a high-volume retail environment. You'll contribute to compliance with store safety and cleanliness standards and help keep daily operations running smoothly alongside the rest of the management team.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Team Leader supports store management across both operations and customer-facing tasks. Duties range from receiving and stocking shipments to supervising daily routines and handling cash, and the posting notes that these responsibilities apply as needed throughout the shift.

• Support store management by assisting the management team in managing store operations and staff
• Process shipments by boxing and unboxing daily deliveries and stocking products on shelves in compliance with presentation standards

• Perform manager-on-duty tasks, including confirming daily breaks are taken and entering attendance records
