Job summary

Urban Barn Ltd. in Cambridge, ON is seeking a Full-time Assistant Store Manager for our Cambridge store.

You will support the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional customer experience and leading a high-performing team in a fast-paced home décor environment. The role requires at least 2 years of retail sales management experience, a proven ability to meet sales targets, and a flexible schedule covering weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Retail Sales Management experience (as stated).
• Experience with achieving sales targets.
• Proven ability to coach and develop a team of top performers.
• Commitment to a flexible schedule (Open daytime/evening/weekend).

Salary Range: $41,500.00 To $46,500.00 Annually

Participate in the management of an inspiring furniture and home décor store. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will collaborate with the Manager to create a positive working environment for the team and an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we are looking for candidates who can work 40 hours per week and are available to work a variety of shifts on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

What You Will Do:

• Guide customers in their decor choices
• Ensure the achievement of sales objectives
• Communicate your expectations to the team and provide training, coaching, and feedback
• Manage store merchandising, inventory, and shrink
• Lead and maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store
