Urban Barn Thickson Ridge in Whitby, ON is seeking a Part-time Sales Associate to help customers create spaces they love. You will guide shoppers to products, deliver friendly service, and support store goals with product knowledge.

This role offers a competitive hourly wage ($17.95–$22.95) plus commissions and a 40% discount on Urban Barn items. Shifts include weekdays, weeknights and weekends, with a minimum of 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Retail Sales experience.
• Experience using Point-of-Sale systems and iPads.
• Flexible schedule: minimum 3 days per week including at least one weekend and one weekday daytime shift.

Accompany and guide customers to find inspiring furniture and home décor during their visit to our store. As a Sales Associate, you will represent Urban Barn by offering friendly service and product knowledge to help our customers create a space they love to call home. In collaborating with the store team and managers, you will provide our customers with the best shopping experience possible.

Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we're looking for candidates who can work a variety of shifts (i.e. weekdays, weeknights and weekends).

What you Bring:

• At least 2 years of Retail Sales experience
• Ease of using technology such as a Point-of-Sale system and iPad
• Flexible schedule to work a minimum of 3 days (12-20 hours) per week -including at least 1 weekend and 1 weekday daytime shift
• The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg
