Job summary

Urban Barn in Kitchener-Waterloo is seeking a Full-time Store Supervisor for our Boardwalk location. You will work closely with the Manager to create a positive team environment and memorable shopping experiences, while overseeing daily store operations.

The role requires at least 2 years of retail sales and leadership experience, with a flexible schedule across weekdays, weeknights, and weekends. You will help drive sales and maintain store standards in a busy, design-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience and ability to lead customer service.
• Experience in leadership or supervising teams.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends.

Participate in the leadership of an inspiring furniture and home décor store. As a Store Supervisor, you will collaborate with the Manager and Assistant Manager to create a positive working environment for the team and an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we are looking for candidates who can work 30-40 hours per week and are available to work a variety of shifts on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

What You Will Do:

• Guide customers in their decor choices
• Open, prepare and close the store
• Train and coach team members
• Supports operational tasks for stock and merchandising
• Ensure the performance of the store
• Maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store

What you Bring:

• At least 2 years of Retail sales experience
• Experience in Customer Service Leadership
• Commitment to a flexible schedule (Open to daytime, evening, and weekend shifts)
• The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg
