Job summary

Urban Barn is hiring a Full-time Store Supervisor for its Uptown location in Victoria, BC. You will help lead the team, open/close the store, and coach staff to deliver an outstanding shopping experience.

The role requires at least 2 years of retail sales experience, leadership in customer service, and a flexible schedule. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and support stock/merchandising efforts daily.

Participate in the leadership of an inspiring furniture and home décor store. As a Store Supervisor, you will collaborate with the Manager and Assistant Manager to create a positive working environment for the team and an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we are looking for candidates who can work 30-40 hours per week and are available to work a variety of shifts on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

What You Will Do:

• Guide customers in their decor choices
• Open, prepare and close the store
• Train and coach team members
• Supports operational tasks for stock and merchandising
• Ensure the performance of the store
• Maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store

What you Bring:

• At least 2 years of Retail sales experience
• Experience in Customer Service Leadership
• Commitment to a flexible schedule (Open to daytime, evening, and weekend shifts)
• The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg
