Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Restaurant General Manager to lead the restaurant team.
  • Delegate tasks, deliver exceptional customer service, lead by example, and develop the team.
  • Recruits, trains, develops and communicates with the team of Food Travel Experts; implements and maintains guest service standards and / or brand specifications.
  • Maintain all merchandising standards, display presentations and signing standards and monitor inventory levels.
  • Develop, plan and assign daily goals, tasks and Team Member assignments.
  • Manage, supervise and evaluate Team Member performance, provide feedback, and apply disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Assist in monitoring sales performance through analysis of sales reports and comparison shopping.
  • Maintain adherence to all company policies and procedures, as well as provincial health / sanitation standards.
  • Manage all office tasks, including funds management, receiving, inventory, purchasing, team member scheduling and payroll.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the food & beverage industry, in a management capacity.
  • Food and Beverage experience in a casual dining setting required.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage conflict and ensure successful outcomes; work under pressure and handle high stress situations while exercising sound judgment and decision making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; English required, bilingual French preferred.
  • Effective organizational skills to prioritize daily, weekly, monthly and yearly activities.
