Dollarama in Canada is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to support the management team in daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining an organized and efficient store environment.

The role includes supervising staff, boxing/unboxing shipments, stocking shelves, and handling cash management, opening/closing duties, and safety compliance. Flexible day/evening/weekend availability is required to succeed.

Qualifications

• Approximately one year of retail experience.
• At least one year in a supervisory role.
• Flexible availability including day, evening, weekend.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the management team in managing store operations and staff.
• Boxing and unboxing daily shipments.
• Stocking daily products on shelves.
• Climbing ladders to reach all areas of the store.
• Providing good customer service and resolving customer issues.
• Ensuring store safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
• Following up on assigned tasks.
• Conducting manager-on-duty tasks: ensure breaks, time and attendance tracked and participate in hiring and performance management.
