We’re seeking a new member of our applications and technical sales support team. This customer-facing role will involve technical sales, applications development, on-site support, and customer training for IPG’s sensor products. Duties will include installation, troubleshooting, and repair of optical equipment at customer sites. Candidates should be outgoing, comfortable giving presentations on technical material, and able to work without supervision. Strong preference will be given to candidates with a background in physics or engineering, with experimental experience and/or previous field support experience with sophisticated industrial automation equipment. Given our global footprint, a working proficiency in Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Korean, German or Spanish is also an asset.
Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada, have a valid passport and be eligible and willing to travel to the United States, Europe, and Asia.
