Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of design systems and component-oriented development.
  • Experience integrating AEM with REST APIs and web services.
  • Proven experience as an AEM Front-End Developer.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and knowledge of modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue).
  • Significant experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites).
  • Development using HTL/Sightly, Sling Models, and OSGi.
  • Front-End proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
  • AEM Back-End knowledge of Java development within the AEM ecosystem.
  • Consumption of REST APIs and integration of external services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, and client-side scripts aligned with design system principles.
  • Implement responsive and accessible UI designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure design consistency across platforms.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve AEM-related front-end issues.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Work arrangement toner: Hybrid, 2 days in the office

Location: Downtown Montreal

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000 – $135,000. This role is an existing vacancy.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
