Job summary

A local grocery store is looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant for a 12-month contract. You'll handle customer inquiries, liaise between store locations and the office, and assist with data entry and reports. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office. This office role operates Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, in Surrey, BC.

Administrative Assistant, F/T, $21.50/hr (12 month contract)

Choices Markets’ Head Office currently has an opening for a one year temporary full time Office Administrative Assistant.

A wide variety of duties are involved, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to take on increasingly complex and responsible tasks as they become more comfortable in the role.

Current and main responsibilities of this position are:

  • responding to customer inquiries and requests;
  • liaising between store locations and office.
  • data entry and filing;
  • preparing sales reports as requested for theOperations Managersand outside vendors;
  • supporting department category management (i.e. price changes, new listings, etc.);
  • supporting HR and stores with uniform requests.
  • assist with organizing training, RSVP’s and other administrative duties;
  • other administrative duties as required

  • comfortable talking to customers/guests, with outstanding communication skills;

This is an office role with hours being Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Our office is located at 19580 Telegraph Trail, Surrey BC.
