Job summary

ACCIONA in Canada is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to support the Finance team with daily invoicing, vendor inquiries, and reconciliations. The role requires handling AP inbox, resolving vendor questions, and ensuring policy compliance in a high-volume environment.

The position offers a base salary in the CAD 70,000–90,000 range with a comprehensive benefits package, RRSP matching, and performance-based bonuses. Opportunities for development and career progression are provided.

Qualifications

• Preference for candidates with previous accounting experience.
• Accounting diploma/certification would be an asset.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Record invoices in the system daily, ensuring information on invoice is complete.
• Manage the AP inbox and delegate inquiries to appropriate team member when needed.
• Deal with vendor inquiries related to invoices/payments, answering phone calls and emails and liaising with relevant departments as necessary.
• Perform administrative duties such as photocopying, filing and printing.
• Reconcile vendor statements.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.
• As required, assist with other duties as assigned by Accounting Manager.
• Assist with monthly Balance Sheet and P&L preparation.
• Maintain general ledgers and journal processing.
• Prepare monthly reporting files for Finance team.
