A leading staffing firm is seeking an Accounting Team Lead in Vaughan, ON to supervise a team of accountants and oversee full-cycle accounting. This hybrid position involves managing reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements while providing coaching and maintaining process documentation. Ideal for candidates with strong accounting backgrounds and experience in shared services environments, this role offers a competitive salary between $95,000 and $105,000 annually.
We are seeking an Accounting Team Lead to supervise and provide coaching to a team of accountants, ensuring the achievement of the Shared Services Center's activities and service levels. This role involves overseeing full-cycle accounting, including reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany transactions, financial statement preparation, Oracle Fusion period close, and audit support. You will serve as a subject matter expert for SSC accounting processes, providing guidance and training to the organization, and developing and maintaining process documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
This position offers a hybrid work environment with three days per week onsite. Working hours require flexibility due to international meetings, particularly with Australia, as part of the Master Data project. Overtime is covered, and travel may be required up to 20% or more as the project ramps up, especially to Indonesia where another Shared Service will be located.
This is a Permanent position based out of Vaughan, ON.
The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
