We are looking for an Accounting Officer to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Cash receipt entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable and account reconciliations
  • Satisfying customer service queries. Internal department queries and problem solving
  • Account payment histories
  • Tax remittances
  • Compilation and distribution of daily management reports
  • Compliance reporting
  • Reconciling bank statements and general ledgers
  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
  • Full cycle accounting
  • Other accounting duties that management may require
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • Relevant university degree or college diploma combined with two years of work experience
  • Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, policies and procedures and budgeting methods
  • Detail orientated, with excellent organizational and follow up skills
  • Ability to produce and manage daily management reporting requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Energetic team player with ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Great Plains would be an asset
