Overview

Job Function: Our client is looking to hire an Accounting Administrator to join their team in Lloydminster. This role provides administrative support and support with accounting accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounting and Financial Administration :
  • Provide day to day support to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
  • Assist with processing of financial transactions reconciliations and follow up.
  • Provide support or relief to the Controller as needed.
  • Maintenance of filing systems customer and vendor accounts.
  • Provide support for HR / Payroll with compilation of data and other administrative duties.
  • Lead the Culture Committee organizing committee meetings and coordinating company-wide initiatives / events.
  • Gather feedback from employees and work with leadership to develop programs that enhance employee engagement and workplace culture.
  • Support Health and Safety with safety initiatives preparation and communication of safety materials reporting safety documentation and compliance as needed.
  • Serve as secretary for the Joint Health & Safety Committee.
Executive Support
  • Provide administrative support to the team including calendar management scheduling travel coordination switchboard communications and document preparation.
  • Assist with meetings agenda preparation and taking minutes.
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Accounting Assistant or similar role(s).
  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with ERP systems (such as Karmak Fusion Yooz) would be an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Professionalism maintaining confidentiality.
  • A team player who champions culture and safety.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
