Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven

Account Executive

to join our dynamic sales team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, managing the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers across public safety and healthcare organizations. Your primary focus will be selling our innovative mental health SaaS solutions to police departments, fire departments, EMS providers, and other mental health service providers, including addiction counseling centers.

As an Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on expanding our footprint in the Canadian market while helping organizations implement vital mental health solutions for their teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and target new business opportunities within police departments, fire departments, EMS providers, addiction counseling centers, and other related organizations in Canada. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads through cold outreach, networking, and research.
  • Sales Presentations & Demos: Conduct impactful sales presentations and product demos to C-suite executives, HR leaders, wellness managers, and other key decision-makers. Tailor demonstrations to the specific needs of the organization, showcasing how our platform can address mental health challenges unique to first responders, healthcare professionals, and those in high-stress professions.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers at client organizations to create opportunities for upselling, renewals, and referrals. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Customer Success, and Product) to ensure customer satisfaction and drive ongoing engagement.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations and close deals, ensuring all client needs are met and that our value proposition is clearly communicated. Work closely with the sales and legal teams to finalize contracts and ensure smooth implementation of solutions.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategy: Stay informed on industry trends, mental health solutions for public safety, and the unique challenges faced by organizations in the public sector and healthcare industry. Share insights with the team to refine our go-to-market strategies, product offerings, and messaging.
  • Sales Reporting & Metrics: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and pipeline stages in our CRM. Meet or exceed sales quotas and performance metrics, providing regular reports to management.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven success in B2B SaaS sales, preferably in mental health solutions, healthcare technology, or public sector sales. Experience selling into public safety (police, fire, EMS), healthcare (hospitals, addiction services), or corporate wellness sectors is highly preferred.
  • Sales Skills: Strong ability to prospect, qualify leads, and close deals in a consultative sales process. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences including senior executives and first responders.
  • Passion for Mental Health: A deep understanding of the mental health challenges faced by high-stress professions such as first responders, emergency medical services, and healthcare professionals. Passion for promoting mental health solutions that create real, lasting change in the lives of individuals.
  • CRM & Sales Tools: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales productivity tools. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects and sales cycles simultaneously.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Health Sciences, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
