Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain equipment in proper operating condition through preventative and corrective maintenance and provide support during breakdowns.
  • Responsible for project work (process and/or continuous improvement, reliability) and part of the annual shut-down team responsible for overhauls.
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance (repair, overhaul, install, replace) of Ready-Mix concrete production equipment: belt conveyors, screw conveyors, dust collectors, pumps, pneumatic gates and actuators, compressors, boilers & water heaters, and similar equipment.
  • Welding, cutting, brazing using different techniques and with different metals.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain transmission systems from motors to gearboxes, sheaves/pulleys, shafts, bearing assemblies.
  • Removal of outdated and unused equipment as assigned.
  • Housekeeping duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Valid 433A Millwright License
  • 5 years of experience in a heavy industrial setting as a Millwright.
  • Experience welding, cutting, brazing using different techniques and with different metals.
  • Hoisting and Rigging knowledge (considered strong asset).
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and work procedures.
