Jobtailor in Brazil seeks an IT Production Operations Engineer to monitor and support the production IT environment. You will manage incidents, work on change processes, and ensure high availability of systems across Windows and Linux platforms.

The role requires experience with Active Directory, servers, middleware, and cloud platforms, plus virtualization expertise in VMware/OpenShift. AZ/ITIL basics are valued, with a focus on reliability and proactive optimization.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress.
• Installation, configuration, and support.
• Operating systems (Windows Server 2016/2019/2022; Linux/Unix).
• Active Directory, File Server, IIS, DFS, Microsoft Cluster, VPN, WebSphere, DataPower, JBoss.
• VMware and OpenShift virtualization platforms.
• Cloud platforms (Azure, IBM Cloud, AWS).
• AZ-900 and AZ-104 certifications.
• ITIL/COBIT fundamentals.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to operation of the production IT environment via monitoring activities.
• Reduce service disruption time through incident and PBI management processes.
• Investigate root causes of customer issues from a business perspective.
• Record incidents and track resolution to prevent recurrence.
• Develop system performance monitoring and control mechanisms for availability.
• Coordinate system updates per standards and CAB approvals.

• Contribute to the operation of the production IT environment by monitoring proactive infrastructure and systems monitoring activities
• Reduce service disruption time through incident and PBI management processes, including checklists, operating procedures, and escalations
• Investigate the root causes of customer issues and identify solutions from a business perspective
• Record incidents and track their resolution to prevent recurrence
• Develop system performance monitoring and control mechanisms to ensure environment availability
• Arrange for the application of system updates in accordance with predefined standards and approvals from change advisory boards
