Jobtailor is seeking an IT operations professional to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues in a production environment. You will collaborate with teams, debug code, review logs, manage incidents, and maintain runbooks while enhancing stability and automation using AI tools and GitHub Copilot.

The role demands strong communication, Unix and AWS experience (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, Lambda), plus solid programming knowledge and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, CS or related field.
• Experience in software development or production environment support.
• Experience with troubleshooting in Unix environments.
• Knowledge of ETL and Capacity Management.
• Experience using AI tools and GitHub Copilot for development, debugging, and automation.
• Knowledge of at least one structured or object-oriented programming language (Java, C, C++, VB, Angular, ReactJS).
• Experience with databases, SQL, and query optimization.
• Hands-on AWS, especially EC2, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, and Lambda.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical, organized and problem-solving mindset.
• Advanced conversational English.

Responsabilidades

• Work collaboratively with the team to analyze, investigate, and resolve application issues
• Perform code debugging, log analysis, and incident troubleshooting
• Manage incidents, ensuring clear and effective communication with involved areas
• Identify and implement improvements to increase application stability and availability
• Identify alerts and processes that can be automated and develop automation solutions
• Propose alternative solutions for problem resolution and improved system stability
• Participate in the Change Management process
• Create, update, and enhance runbooks and operational documentation
• Develop reports to track metrics and environment information
• Communicate with stakeholders, translating complex technical production issues into clear, objective, and actionable executive summaries
• Use AI tools and GitHub Copilot to support development, debugging, automation and capacity metrics analysis
