Jobtailor is seeking an experienced AWS-focused Infrastructure Engineer to support and evolve our cloud environments in São Paulo. You will troubleshoot incidents, implement IaC, and drive automation across pipelines and deployments.

Ideal candidates have deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, VPC), Terraform/Terragrunt, GitOps (Argo CD), Kubernetes, Linux, and strong incident analysis skills in production environments.

Qualificações

• Must have solid AWS architecture, operations, and troubleshooting experience.
• Proficient in EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, VPC, IAM, and Security Hub.
• Expertise in Terraform/Terragrunt and CloudFormation.
• Experience with GitOps practices (Argo CD) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills in Shell and Python.

• Support and drive the evolution of AWS environments
• Perform advanced incident troubleshooting, identifying root causes and leading actions to restore services
• Analyze issues related to infrastructure, applications, networks, security, performance, availability, and integrations
• Support the resolution of critical incidents and participate in preparing root cause analyses (RCAs)
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as a code
• Create and enhance automations for operational activities
• Build, maintain, and improve GitOps‐based pipelines and processes
• Assess AWS architectures, identifying risks, areas for improvement, and optimization opportunities
• Develop recommendations related to security, resilience, performance, observability, and costs
• Support infrastructure changes, upgrades, and deployments in production environments
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, diagrams, and knowledge articles
• Share knowledge and provide technical support to less experienced professionals
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams during the analysis and resolution of requests
• Take a proactive approach, helping reduce incidents and improve environment stability

Requirements

• Solid experience with architecture, operations, and troubleshooting in AWS environments
• Knowledge of key AWS services: EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, IAM, Secrets Manager, and Security Hub
• Knowledge of DevOps and automation: CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CloudFormation, and infrastructure‑as‑code tools
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform and Terragrunt
• Knowledge of Shell scripting and Python for automation
• Experience with Git and version control tools
• Knowledge of GitOps practices and tools, such as Argo CD
• Experience with Kubernetes and containers
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and log analysis
• Knowledge of AWS Well‑Architected Framework best practices
• Experience analyzing and resolving incidents in production and business‑critical environments
• Strong analytical skills and structured problem‑solving abilities
• Autonomy and confidence in handling troubleshooting and critical incidents
