A leading analytical testing services company in Brazil is looking for a skilled professional to enhance their Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience with Embarcadero Delphi and Oracle PL/SQL, alongside strong analytical skills. You will be responsible for collaborating on LIMS developments that meet user requirements. The position offers Monday to Friday working hours and supports career growth and diversity.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of experience developing solutions using Embarcadero Delphi 2006 or later.
• 4+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with test driven development and test automation.

Overview

In the role, you will work with a dedicated, enthusiastic team developing enhancements to a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and supporting the LIMS' multiple customers.

Location: Brazil

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy changes to the LIMS according to the customers’ and business users’ requirements.
• Estimate complexity and workload in collaboration with Product Owners and other stakeholders.
• Choose the most appropriate technical solution to meet user requirements.
• Support the LIMS in collaboration with other team members.
• Work together with Engineers/QA to ensure high quality of delivered solutions.
• Ensure good practices and high quality standards are implemented and followed.

Are you our kind of extraordinary?

• 4+ years of experience developing solutions using Embarcadero Delphi 2006 or later (Delphi 12 preferable). Experience with using Delphi to develop Windows Services and/or UI Forms is a bonus.
• 4+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL
• Strong working knowledge of server-side development with Delphi and/or Oracle PL/SQL
• Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of relational databases (Oracle 9i, 11g or later)
• Strong knowledge of Agile software development practices, particularly Scrum and/or Kanban
• Clear experience in collaboration with Business Analysts and Software Architects
• Some experience in test driven development and test automation
• Comfortable in unit testing and mocking with Delphi
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions

Education

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or similar
