Job summary

CEVA Logistics Solutions Singapore PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Shipping Operations Supervisor to oversee daily shipping activities in the Brazilian Norte region. You will supervise order processing, packing, labeling and dispatch while guiding a team to meet operational targets.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain accurate stock records with warehouse teams, and collaborate with customers and partners to ensure timely shipments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in shipping operations or a similar supervisory role.
• Experience in leading and managing a team.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and leading warehouse or shipping teams.
• Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, documentation and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in SAP or warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily shipping operations, including order processing, packing, labelling and dispatch.
• Lead and train shipping staff, providing guidance, training and performance feedback to ensure targets are met.
• Ensure shipments comply with regulatory requirements, safety protocols and company procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain stock records and efficient product flow.
• Resolve operational issues and troubleshoot shipping problems to minimize delays and maintain service levels.
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documentation, manifests and records for audit and compliance.
• Liaise with customers, courier partners and internal departments to facilitate timely shipments.
• Implement health, safety and environmental standards within the shipping department.
• Analyse shipping metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

What we're looking for

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with team members and external partners

• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying operational improvements

• Basic computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Physical capability to perform duties in a warehouse environment, including occasional manual handling

• Relevant certifications such as Diploma in Logistics or similar qualifications are highly desirable

• Experience in Singapore's port operations or international shipping is an advantage
